shedkm is a dynamic and creative architectural practice that has a studio in London and Liverpool. The team is capable of creating customised private residential homes as well as difficult multi million pound remodelling projects. They have delivered widely acknowledged high quality architecture which is often based on limited and small budgets. shedkm is recognised for its numerous and distinguished housing projects which includes the first fully prefabricated apartments for the private sector and the creative re use of redundant buildings. They currently have an interest for terraced houses. The practice's comprehensive knowledge in housing has been acknowledged nationally with the company received many Civic Trust and RIBA awards. In addition, they have also been shortlisted for the honourable Manser Medal award for two of their private houses. shedkm won the overall housing design award at the MIPIM 2008 for the Chimney Pot Park project, which was an estate of a previous two up two downs in Salford and also received the Best Residential Project in the same year.
