Rich Landscapes is an award winning practice working in the United Kingdom and overseas. The practice seeks to merge landscape and architecture create beautiful pieces as a result of the fusion. They work together with interior designers, architects and craftsmen to deliver excellent spaces which reflects a harmonious relationship between nature and people. The team is founded by the landscape architects Harry Rich and David Rich in 2012. They are known as the youngest designers that have received a RHS Chelsea Flower Show Gold medal on Main Avenue. The 'sense of place' is a fundamental detail to their design process. Careful consideration to the material chosen, planting selection and palette and performance provide the framework that shape the atmosphere and functionality of the space. Rich Landscapes is devoted to encouraging people to associate themselves with nature. The connection with nature has been dwindling as a result of urbanisation. To tackle this issue, the practice aspires to provide people with their own bit of nature that is organised within a compassionate and controlled design.
