Hayhurst and Co
Hayhurst and Co was set up in 2004 and has rose to eminence as one of the United Kingdom's dominant young practices, specifically in the residential architecture sector. The practice's work is attributed to their creative and whimsical usage of materials - old and new - which is guided by a unique rendition of the context of the site and the location of the project. The practice designed a successful residential project called the 'Hairy House', which was awarded the RIBA London Best Small Project of the Year 2012 and RIBA National Award. Other projects that have been received by the practice include NLA Awards for the project 'Hampstead Beach House' and 'Tray House'. Hayhurst and Co was second in the Young Architect of the Year (YAYA) in 2012.
