Harriet Anstruther set up her Architectural Interior Design Studio and it has been described as a universal studio that is responsive to the projects commissioned to them. The practice is able to easily design a contemporary commercial space as they could design a country home, with pride and confidence. The team takes pride in challenging themselves to merge traditional and modern styles harmoniously, which allows various design renditions to be produced for each project. This is done by commemorating the existing architectural detail and introduce contemporary interior design. Harriet Anstruther is a member of the Development Advisory Board at the Victoria & Albert Museum, a Committee Member and Ambassador for the Royal Academy and British Institute of Interior Design (BIID), whose terms for contracts and systems compliments that of the RIBA. Her experience also comes from her position as a consultant for the Design Museum & Yohji Yamamoto, among others.
