Chance de Silva
Chance de Silva was founded because the team wanted to challenge the boundaries of architecture with regards to its relationships with other contributors, which may include musicians, performers or artists. Due to their unique mentality, the team has been noticed and has even be featured on television in the UK and France and published in China, France and Spain. They are constantly on the look out for projects that enables them to explore different possibilities and some of their clientele include Matt Hale, Frank Watson and Kirsty Brooks. Chance de Silva makes it a point to constantly look for new materials and new ways to use used materials to articulate their concepts and create a suitable atmosphere for each project. For their Cargo Fleet project, the practice explored rusting steel and introduced post-patination compound on copper cladding for their Venus project. Chance de Silva also have experience in residential, mixed use, healthcare and community projects and obtaining difficult planning permissions for sites.
