Assemble is a design firm that works collectively across differents sections of art, architecture and design. The team of 18 members has grown ever since it was started in 2010 and has crafted various award winning pieces of architecture. Despite the recognition, Assemble still preserves an independent, democratic and collaborative working nature which strives to engage with the disconnection between public and the process where places are created. They were shortlisted for the 2017 Mies Van der Rohe Prize and were presented the Turner Prize in 2015 for their alliance with Community Land Trust in Toxteth, Liverpool.
