Archmongers was set up by Margaret Bursa and Johan Hybschmann, both of whom are graduates of the University College London’s Bartlett School of Architecture. The design studio is excellent at revitalising neglected buildings and this results in pragmatic but sensational spaces that is pivoting on durable materials. By working with the clients, Archmongers aspires to strike a balance between aesthetics and purpose, encapsulating a flourishing environment for its inhabitants. The buildings are designed with finesse such that it only gets better with age. The firm is known for their Clock House project which was a finalist for the prestigious AJ Small Project Award 2016 and was shortlisted for New London Architecture (NLA) ‘Don’t Move Improve!’ 2016 award.
